The European Mouflon (Ovis musimon L. or Ovis ammon L.). Hunting European mouflons, the most attractive game of the Mediterranean, is an extraordinary experience for hunters who hunt it for the first time, but also always a new challenge for hunters who have already hunted it. Originally from the area of South-West Asia, it reached the Balkans and the islands of Corsica and Sardinia via Turkey. Mouflon was first introduced to Croatia in Brijuni, and from there its presence spread to the hunting grounds on the Adriatic coast.
Weapons with grooved barrels are used for hunting, and the minimum permissible kinetic energy of the grain at 100m is 2000 joules, the minimum permitted weight of the grain is 4.80 grams, shooting at a maximum of 200 meters.
