Mountainous regions of Lika and Gorski Kotar.

The European brown bear is a subspecies of the brown bear that was once widespread throughout Eurasia and North America.

Part of the population of the Dinaric Massif lives in Croatia, which is the second largest in Europe after the Carpathians. In Western Europe, the brown bear is almost exterminated, and the remaining populations are small, separated from each other, and are disappearing.

Weapons with grooved barrels are used for hunting, the minimum permissible kinetic energy of the grain at 100 m is 3500 joules, and the minimum permitted weight of the grain is 11.50 grams, shooting at a maximum of 100 meters.
